Sorry to hear about Bernard. My parents Elton and Hazel Meyer spent a lot of time with your parents. I have a lot of photos and memories of that time. Hearing about the chicken dinner and hiding the strawberries. We even shared a farm dog...Dutch. I will always remember the get- togethers. The last call I had from Mom your Dad had opened the drug store door for her. Remember the good times kids! Bonnie and Harold Meier Davenport, Iowa.

RONALD AND I WOULD LOVE TO BE AMONG THE MANY WHO WILL GREET YOUR FAMILY AT THIS TIME, BUT DUE TO DISTANCE AND OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME.
BACK IN IOWA WHEN WE LIVED ON T AVE, UNCLE BERNARD WOULD STOP IN TO SIT A BIT AND CHAT, THEN BE ON HIS WAY. OR YOU WOULD SEE HIM AND PHYLLIS AT HAWKEYE FUN DAYS PARADE.
TO ALL THE GEHRKE COUSINS, WE SEND OUR SYMPATHY, HUGS AND GODS BLESSING AS YOU GATHER FOR HIS CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES.
